DTF Heat Press Instructions
For optimal adhesion, durability, and a professional finish, please follow the recommended application instructions below when using Rebirth & Radiance Ltd Co. DTF Transfers.
Recommended Pressing Settings
Temperature: 310°F
Press Time: 12–15 Seconds
Pressure: Medium to Firm
Equipment: Commercial Heat Press Recommended
Application Instructions
1. Prepare the Garment
Place the garment on your heat press and pre-press for 3–5 seconds. This helps remove moisture and wrinkles while creating a smooth surface for transfer application.
2. Position the DTF Transfer
Place the DTF transfer in the desired location with the printed design facing the garment.
Confirm that the transfer is properly positioned and aligned before pressing.
3. Apply Heat & Pressure
Press the transfer at 310°F for 12–15 seconds using medium to firm, even pressure.
Consistent temperature and pressure across the entire design are important for proper adhesion.
4. Remove the Carrier Film
After pressing, remove the garment from the heat press and peel the carrier film according to the peel requirements of your transfer.
Peel the film smoothly and evenly without stretching the garment.
5. Final Press
After removing the carrier film, cover the design with parchment paper or an appropriate finishing sheet.
Press again for 5–7 seconds using the same temperature and pressure.
The final press helps improve adhesion, durability, and the overall finish of the transfer.
Washing & Care Instructions
For maximum longevity:
- Allow 24 hours before the first wash
- Turn the garment inside out before washing
- Machine wash in cold water
- Use a mild detergent
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang dry
- Do not dry clean
- Do not iron directly over the transferred design
Important Application Information
Heat presses may vary in actual temperature, pressure, and performance. The settings provided above are recommended starting points and may require adjustment based on your specific heat press and garment material.
We strongly recommend performing a test press before beginning a full production run, especially when working with a new garment or fabric.
For best results, use a professional heat press capable of providing consistent temperature and even pressure across the entire transfer.
